Terms of Service

Effective date: October 20, 2026

Notice of upcoming revision

Announced on October 13, 2026. The amendments to Article 4(2) take effect on October 20, 2026. However, the three items below that may be unfavorable to users take effect on November 12, 2026. The previous terms took effect on October 7, 2026.

  • Plans: the Trial and Basic plans become Free and Starter (site limits stay the same), and Growth and Scale are added. The terms state the term of paid plans (30 days), that they apply after the bank transfer is confirmed, and that there is no automatic payment or renewal.
  • Basis of limits: the device limit is stated as 5 times per day and 20 times per month instead of 5 images per day and 20 images per month. A device means one browser on the same site, and daily and monthly limits renew at midnight and on the first of each month in Korea time.
  • From November 12, 2026: the device limit (5 times per day and 20 times per month) also includes failed and canceled attempts.
  • From November 12, 2026: changing plans does not reset usage.
  • From November 12, 2026: generation may be restricted depending on the shared AI budget and congestion.

Announced on October 13, 2026. The new Article 4(4) (changing plans during a paid plan) takes effect on October 20, 2026.

  • Changing plans: during a paid plan you can switch to a higher plan right away by paying only the difference, or order the next term on any paid plan in advance. A lower plan applies from the next term.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms define the conditions and procedures for using Silk Cave (the Service), provided by its operator (the Operator), and the rights and obligations of the Operator and users.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. The Service comprises virtual try-on installed by a tag on store product pages, its management console, the silkcave.com introduction pages and demo store.
  2. Store means a business that has contracted with the Operator and installed the tag on its own site.
  3. Customer means a person using virtual try-on in a store or the demo store.
  4. User means anyone using the Service, including stores, customers and consultation applicants.

Article 3 (Publication and Changes)

  1. The Operator publishes these terms at silkcave.com/terms.
  2. Changes and their effective dates are announced here at least 7 days in advance, or 30 days for changes unfavorable to users.
  3. A separate agreement between the Operator and a store takes precedence where it differs from these terms.

Article 4 (Use of the Service)

  1. Stores start by signing into the console with Google, registering a contact and brand, and creating a site. For consultation applicants, the Operator may create the site and invite them.
  2. Prices and usage limits follow the Free, Starter, Growth and Scale plans listed under Plan & billing in the console. Free lasts 14 days with 15 images/day and 80/month per site; Starter allows 30/day and 200/month, Growth 60/day and 600/month, and Scale 120/day and 1,800/month. Paid plans last 30 days and begin after bank transfer confirmation. There is no automatic payment or renewal. Every plan limits each device to 5/day and 20/month, including failures and cancellations. A device means one browser on the same site. Daily and monthly allowances renew at midnight and on the first of each month in Korea time. Changing plans does not reset usage. Generation may be restricted by the shared AI budget or congestion. The operator and store may agree otherwise.
  3. Customers can use virtual try-on on product pages without signing up. Limits set by the Operator or store may apply.
  4. During a paid plan you can switch to a higher plan right away. You pay the difference between the new plan's 30-day price and the 30-day price paid for the current term, prorated by the remaining days (amounts under 100 KRW are dropped); the amount is set when you order. The new plan applies once the bank transfer is confirmed, and the end of the term does not change. Before the current term ends you can order the next term (30 days) on any paid plan once in advance; it starts when the current term ends. A change to a lower plan applies from the next term, and if that month's usage is then at or above the new plan's monthly limit, generation is restricted until the 1st of the following month (Korea time).

Article 5 (User Obligations)

  1. Customers must upload only their own photos or photos they have the right to use. Do not upload another person's photo without their consent.
  2. Stores must use only product images they have rights to and inform customers of the outsourcing of personal information processing for try-on. The Operator provides notice wording in the installation kit.
  3. Users must not use the Service for unlawful or public-order-violating purposes, to infringe others' rights or reputation, or to disrupt normal operation.
  4. Do not share console accounts with others.

Article 6 (Generated Images)

  1. Try-on images are AI-generated composites and may differ from the actual fit, color, or size. The service identifies them as composites. The image file also carries an “AI-generated” mark that remains in shared or saved copies.
  2. Try-on images are references to help purchase decisions. Consult the store's product information for accurate details.
  3. Uploaded photos and try-on images are deleted after 24 hours. Customers may delete them earlier.

Article 7 (Personal Information)

Personal information is processed under the Privacy Policy.

Article 8 (Changes and Suspension)

The Operator may change or suspend all or part of the Service for maintenance, failures or external provider circumstances. Where advance notice is possible, stores will be notified by email.

Article 9 (Restrictions)

The Operator may restrict users who violate Article 5. Stores will be informed of the reason.

Article 10 (Limitation of Liability)

  1. The Operator is not liable for damage arising from causes beyond its control, such as natural disasters, user fault or external provider outages. This does not apply to damage caused by the Operator's intent or gross negligence.
  2. The Operator is not liable for differences between try-on images and actual products unless caused by its intent or negligence.

Article 11 (Governing Law and Disputes)

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are resolved by the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.

Article 12 (Contact)

For questions about the Service or these terms, contact rlaaudgjs5638@gmail.com.

Supplementary Provisions

These terms take effect on October 20, 2026. However, the following parts of Article 4(2) take effect on November 12, 2026: including failed and canceled attempts in the device limit, not resetting usage when plans change, and restricting generation depending on the shared AI budget and congestion. Article 4(4) takes effect on October 20, 2026.
